The Parents Apart Parenting Education Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston is held each month on one weekend. You must attend one Friday evening class and one Sunday morning class to receive the certificate for the Probate and Family Court.

Part A - FRIDAY Evening 7:00 - 9:30 PM
(Yawkey Building, 4th Floor, Conference Suite 4A)

Part B - SUNDAY Morning 9:00 - 11:30 AM
(Yawkey Building, 4th Floor, Conference Suite 4A)

Important Information:

Each parent must attend both sessions in entirety to obtain the certificate of completion for the Court
Both parents may not attend sessions at the same time together
Children may not accompany parents

Registration Information:

Registration may be completed in advance or at the door on the first day of class. All registration will be completed, on a space available basis, by submitting the tuition fee at the door.

Registration Fee: $80 per person (total for the two sessions)

Payable by money order (to "Family Healthy Choices, Inc.") or by cash. No personal checks are accepted. In special circumstances if the Court has provided a waiver, the $5 fee must be received along with the Court-approved waiver document at the time of the registration.

How do I register?

At the door: To register at the door, simply arrive within 30 minutes prior to the class start time to complete the registration form. Provide your complete registration form and full registration fee to the on-site coordinator.

Pre-Register Online: Complete and submit the online registration form. You will be sent a confirmation of your registration by e-mail or mail. Provide your confirmation and full registration payment to the on-site coordinator up to 30 minutes prior to the first class start time.

Classes are held in the Yawkey Building at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Directions:

By car, exit Storrow Drive at Government Center/Cambridge Street exit (note: on-street parking or parking MGH lots at standard weekend rate with no validation avaialble)
By subway, take MBTA Red Line to Charles Street Station
